What's your top 10 playlist?

My "if only I could sing" list, with Youtube links:

Bill Withers 'Ain't No Sunshine'
Tim Buckley 'Dolphins'
Robert Wyatt 'Shipbuilding'
Bruce Johnston 'Disney Girls' <--- solo version
John Martyn 'Angeline'
Robin Trower 'Bridge of Sighs'
Janis Ian 'At Seventeen' <--- I'm aware I'm not female, I just think this is a hauntingly beautiful song
Nick Drake 'Riverman'
Jeff Beck 'Bulgaria' <--- when I get my Kamoa electric ;) - turn it up to 11, lie back and close your eyes. Hauntingly beautiful.
Frank Zappa 'Baby Snakes'

Nice selection! The lyrics to Sukiyaki (why is it even called that?) are kind of sad. I'm rather fond of Ashita Ga Aru Sa because it's the best song to sing at karaoke in Japan.

Ashita Ga Aru Sa is a pretty perfect karaoke song. I used to sing Ue o Muite at karaoke in Japan a whole lifetime ago, back in the late 1970s! And now, off to figure out what happened to my Kyu Sakamoto best-of album...

Umbrellas of Cherbourg
La Vie en Rose
Mozart, Sonata Facile (K545)
Eleanor Rigby
Someone to Watch Over Me
Piggies
Orange Crate Art
My Funny Valentine
Tennessee Waltz
Ue o Muite Arukou (known in the U.S. as Sukiyaki)

Must I stop at 10?? :)

Do you play all of them as instrumentals? If you do... Wow. I have so much trouble with the timing on instrumentals. Someday....

All instrumental, all the time :) I'm not kidding when I say I'm not a singer!

Timing is an interesting thing... since I play solo so much, I sometimes have a harder time strumming chords with others than I do with the timing when playing lead. Seems like it should be so basic, but I sometimes find myself totally lost!

Pencil thin mustache - Buffett (Jimmy not Warren)
E Ku’u Morning Dew
Makin’ whoopee
I Will -Beatles
Dream a little dream - Cass Elliot
Down to seeds and steams - Commadnder Cody
Grapefruit Juicy Fruit - Buffet again
That’s the way love goes ( thanks for that one TCK!)
LA Freeway - Guy Clark
Sweat Pea - Amos Lee
Monkey and the Engineer - Grateful Dead

Opps, thats 11
