Ok I am really struggling with learning this song, I'm Yours by Jason Mraz, I have found the chords and and lyrics, and they are surprisingly really simple chords, but i cannot figure out the strumming pattern for this song.

I know most people reply with, just figure out your own strumming pattern and make it yours so it feels right, but i personally cannot do this, and it's the strumming pattern where i struggle for every single song! and when i hear the song there is a definate pattern, but i cannot figure it out, so any help would be very appreciated. Cheers in advance :)

I've played this song before and I used this pattern:

DDUUD

Hopefully this helps and good luck!

the strum pattern i used was du chunk x 4 each chord, C F G.....go cx4
fx4 gx4 back to fx4 then cx4 then repeat in that order, this is only a simple version

it's DU DU, alternating silent strums.

So basically on the first DU you hit the strings while your fingers are jsut touching the strings, without putting pressure, so you mute them. The second DU is a normal sounding strum. So it goues DU (silent) DU (not silent), DU (silent) DU (not silent) etc. Four times per chord.
