My first was an Applause Soprano. I recently dug it out again, and have tuned it to D, just so I have an excuse to play it more.

I don't have my first, or second, or third uke, either. One was sold and two were given away. I do have my last uke though. Good thing, UAS isn't in my budget...

A Johnson soprano. It was a gift from my wife, who paid way too much. The worst piece of junk that ever existed, but perhaps the greatest gift I've ever received.

I cannot remember the make of my first ukulele, a low-end laminate mahogany thing that I bought in the 1970s. It was cheap, though. After I started playing ukulele again, I looked for the old uke in my parents' house, but I couldn't find it... It's gone, and that's that...
