OK this is like finding a needle in a haystack but
better to have this out there just in case someone
looses their mind and wants to sell a Moore Bettah
Uke.

If you have one to sell please PM me.

Thank you
G

Never hurts to check.:) Good luck in your pursuit. Meanwhile, you do have some great ukes in your collection.

Yes am fortunate to have the ones i do have. They are getting a work out for sure.
Thank you for your well wishes in this - one day one way or another an illusive
Moore Bettah will come this way.

Who doesn't?!

Good luck with your search. :)

Have you contacted Chuck to see what the waiting list is like? That way you could help with the design.

Good luck and keep us posted

Thank you indeed i have --- am on the list but it's a long long list.
The wait time is up to two years. So am hoping to get lucky enough
to find one for sale or be able to snag a spec one before my build
time comes crawling in. Thank you for that heads up though. Will
be fabulous to see what design comes through on the build and
am sure it will be absolutely perfect in all ways.

Chuck usually posts a spec uke or two for sale on his webpage about once a month. They sell very quickly though. Good luck.

Am hoping am quick enough to catch one keep scouring his site but with the time difference
may be a bit dicey to catch one.... there is hope though and will keep an eagle eye open for
one of those illusive ukes to make an appearance. Thank you for the heads up on this and will
keep an eye open.

You can try ukulelefriend.com I think it was. They sometimes have a MB for sale. He's got a list of his dealers on his site. Try those.

Glad I am tapped out on a custom right now. This excellent information would be trouble for me.

who dosnt want a moor Bettah???? good luck on your quest. why not just order one made how you want it?

Thank you for all that are chiming in on this thread. Have
looked up and down to find any avenue to purchase and at
this point there seems to only be 3 options -

1. Get really lucky to catch a spec uke before it get's snagged

2. Come across someone that for whatever reason decides to sell a Moore Bettah Uke

3. Wait for two years for my build time to come around.

Yes of course am really looking forward to a build time but its a long way out.
Have tracked down every dealer that has carried them but to no avail. Am
keeping an eye open for one to be listed but so far nothing has come around.
So am simply trying to keep lines open just in case something comes
available.

The last time I talked to Chuck, he was not even taking new orders. If Kanaka managed to get on his build list, she did really well, even with a 2 year wait.

I was happy to get one of Chuck's spec ukes a few months ago. It was pretty much the uke I would have ordered if I had ordered a custom (well, I might have gone for a little more of that gorgeous Chuck Moore inlay work, although that wouldn't have made it sound any better). And Chuck knows a hundred times more about building ukes than I'll ever know, so why would I want him taking direction from me, anyway? :)

* my feeling on it exactly. When my build time comes up he would have full creative
expression and there is nothing i can tell him that could make it better.

Side note is anyone going to the Tampa Bay Uke fest that is bringing
their Moore Bettah Uke along ? Would love to see one in person as
have only seen them on the website. i imagine they are just as gorgeous
if not more so in person than the photos are showing.

i wrote the mermaid song having been inspired by his 3 mermaids uke
and he would like to post the words and music but clearly i can't be
playing a competitors uke and that is totally understood. Am just glad
he enjoys the music and the song. When i eventually get a moore bettah
uke will be sending along the video playing the moore bettah inspired music.
