Hey, y'all!
I just thought I'd post that my band, The Diabolical Machines next gig is coming up. We just played Lola's Saloon here in Fort Worth last week, and coming up on Saturday, December 1st, we'll be playing at The Grotto here in town as well, opening for RoomFour from Dallas and The Breakfast Machine from Arlington.
We're an indie rock/power pop foursome, whose lineup consist of me playing my tenor EleUke and throwing in backing vocals, along with lead guitarist/vocalist Rachel Gollay, rhythm guitarist/vocalist/my better half Steph Buchanan, and drummer Jackie Hollon. If you're into stuff like The Long Winters, The New Pornographers, The Apples In Stereo, etc. but with the added punch of an EleUke played with a seasoning of distortion, come see us!
Music kicks off at 10:00 PM with us. It should be a fun show - headliner The Breakfast Machine is fresh off a win from the Dallas Observer Music Awards for "Best Rock Act," so we're really pumped to be opening for them with our peculiar brand of uke-topped indie rock.
