    I love that second bass. I've never heard of the shortbass. Any link to who makes them and where you can get one? Not that I NEED one

    Shortbass One...scale 3" longer than Ubass, hmmm, about the same as that Samick MCR 1 Micro Bass I picked up recently

    I must to say, as great as these sound, twelve frets to the body with no cutout is not good for me.

    I prefer better access up the neck, it's my biggest complaint about the acoustic u-bass.
