1920's Banjolele

Hi everyone. I have recently aquired a 1920's Banjolele. It has the word melody imprinted at the top and no other makers marks. It is finished in what looks to be a lovely oak wood. Where can i go to learn more about this piece please? The age and maker? Cheers
