Hey UUers!

What is your favorite shape of uke? I really love my pineapple!

Pineapple / round.

I was going to say guitar...actually I think it is dreadnought.

Ukulele shaped.

Before yesterday, I would have said the figure 8 shape. I fixed a friend of mine's old Kamaka Pineapple Soprano and strung it up yesterday with a set of Southcoast strings I had laying around. Man, I can't stop playing that little guy. And the shape feels so natural holding it. It sure gave me a whole new appreciation for the Pinapple shape.

Tesseract, but they're hard to get past the dimensional customs office.

In my opinion, ukuleles ought to be guitar-shaped. Anyway, that's my favourite shape. The banjo-shaped ones are of the Devil.

I like them shaped like my face: round.

Traditional but not Taro Patch or Dreadnaught with da beeg okole, nor Peanut shape. Have a Pineapple but not too crazy about it.................

Traditional for sure.

What he said. (I almost never disagree with Ken about things ukulele.) But I do like what Rick Turner is doing with his line of "jumbo" style Compass Rose ukuleles, with the rounder lower bout.

I may get myself one of those banjoleles someday.
