Hey Tukanu,

I hope it is some strange photographic anomaly that causes the fret board to look curved! Or will it flatten out when the frets are fitted?

I was gifted a board of ambrosia maple. Going to try for back and sides, even though it's not quartersawn. Got it sliced...

I ordered a Triton TRA001, an aluminum router plate, a safety switch, and I bought a bunch of lumber to build a table.

That’s a good choice, you can do a lot of work with a router table. The Triton is a quality tool. Don’t let your spouse find out you can build furniture or kitchen cabinets with it.
