Yesterday, I put three coats of Minwax stain on my tennis racket uke. I don't plan to put polyurethane on it, but maybe more stain. I'll see how it looks later. The next step will be attaching the bridge, tuners, and strings.

That's looking beautiful, Gerard. Right now, I'm waiting for a new soprano Pineapple to be delivered, but it won't be as attractive as yours.

I have some cedar fence boards that I picked up because they are dark, heavy and old growth. Was thinking about using them for a body, neck would be interesting also. That is a cutie.

Pic just above : I put an ultra strong carbone tube, 5mm. diameter,
in my red cedar neck, to improve strength and twist resistance.
