K & K Twin Spot Pickup System on an Ukulele

Upon Dave Talsma's recomendation I contacted the fine folks at K & K after we narrowed down our pickup options.

They put me in touch with Dieter, the owner, and after a couple emails he sent me the Twin Spot system along with the pre amp that goes along with it on the condition that I make a video illustrating the installation process and a few sound clips.

This is that video.

I have this pickup on my Lichty and it sounds great even without a preamp!

Thanks for sharing this. I fully intend to use this when I install one my my uke. I never heard a bad thing said about these pickups. No "thump" like the undersaddle pickups.

I love these pickups!!!!
They are so natural sounding and do well with or without a preamp.
Highly recommended.

Thanks for sharing the video.
I have the undersaddle pickup removed from my uke and planning to install one of these K&K pickup. Your video does help me on choosing between the Big Spot and the Twin Spot. I like it does not interference the vibration path from the strings to soundboard.
