Here's my version of the Lyle Ritz arrangement of "All the Things You Are". Been working on it for a while to combine the interesting chord changes with melody line picking. On a Collings mahogany tenor.

Critique always appreciated.

Very nice! This is not an easy song - good job.

My only critique would be for you to start using other fingers in addition to your thumb to play chord melodies. You have no trouble with rhythm at all - the beat is there.

When a strummer only uses their thumb they are at a bit of a disadvantage. After every down stroke with the thumb they must "reload" their thumb - in other words,
bring their thumb back up into picking position. This takes time. When you use your thumb and fingers you have other tools to help with the job.

Very Nice, is that a Gershwin song?
