Quarter sawing advice

Well, I've got one 9" band saw, three @ 14" (two Deltas and a Powermatic), an antique Crescent 20" that needs finishing up, and the Baker has 20" wheels. 36" saws are not unusual, and then there are the very large "ship's saws" on which the table stays horizontal, and the entire frame can be tilted. They were used for cutting frames for wooden ships, and it took three or four guys to run them...one on the feed, one turning a crank to tilt the saw according to a set of pre-marked angles...to accommodate planking...and a guy or two on the outfeed. They were handling and sawing very large chunks of wood. Here's a nice one!
