FS: Ken Timms style "O" soprano

Hi guys

Brand new Ken Timms style "O" soprano for sale. It's a beauty and it's a shame I can't keep her. Picked up from the post office just a few hrs ago - I need to sell to help offset the cost of another purchase... Took it out of the box to take some photos, and test all is well (yes, really sweet uke).

Looking for $550 including shipping to USA, a bit less if you are located in Australia (because shipping will be cheaper).

Here is another Hand made Soprano Ukulele..Made by Ken Timms (Timbuck) This is one of the Darker types..........Here I have tried to reproduce the main features of the classic Martin Style "0" made in the years between 1920 to 1950's....Solid Mahogany Body and one piece back front and Neck ... "Rosewood" fretboard with Styrene marker dots (The original Style 0 fretboard was Rosewood with Ivoroid dots)...Martin Spec: Dovetail Neck Joint.... ...Arched/Domed Back....Ebony Saddle and Nut....Finish is Hand rubbed in Shellac/French Polish (Aimed to give that Vintage Look ) ...Fitted with Aquila Strings and Quality Tuners with vintage style buttons.... Action at 12th fret 3mm......Sorry No case but it will be shipped well packed......

Great decision! I love my Timms Style O (and my MP Redwood/Walnut that you inspired!)

Haha nice NewKid - totally different in sound and looks and both great in their own way. Here's a short recording of my MP and Timms uke (on an iphone this afternoon) for a comparison of the different sounds! Maybe a touch unfair to the MP, because I think it lends itself more to fingerpicking, and the Timms more for strumming... but at least the clip shows the different sound of the ukes. I love both in their own way.

I have two commissions coming in shortly, so reluctantly this great uke is back up for sale. I'm looking for $440 including shipping in Australia, which includes a hard "green gator" case. Happy to ship overseas also, but I'm not sure how much that would cost - lets say whatever it costs over $420 - so probably closer to $500 including shipping.

I have added a strap button to this uke, and there are some light swirls from strumming (it's a lovely uke and has been played). Still in great condition, and any marks could be touched up at any stage (Ken, or Mrs T more accurately) french polishes them and then puts beeswax over the top.
