New Eden EC 8 20W Bass Combo Amp

I have decided to get the cheapest "quality" beginner's amp to learn bass on. I had about decided on the Ampeg BA 108 when I discovered the new Eden EC 8. Eden amps, overall, seem to get better reviews than Ampeg, but the EC8 is so new that I can find no feedback on it. Anyone try one?, hear one?

Just got some feedback on Talkbass.com. This amp does not live up to Eden's reputation.

Eden has sadly had a very tarnished image before they were sold to US Music, due to their lackluster customer service.
