New Concert Scale "Diaz" ukulele, Cuban Mahogany & Ebony by David Newton Guitars

SOLD!

You can call it a "Super Soprano" 14-3/4" scale, 14 frets to the body, or as I call it, my Diaz model with Concert scale.

Either way it is a all Cuban Mahogany body with Mahogany neck, Ebony fret board, Bone nut & saddle, an alternate Ebony saddle is included.
Rosewood bridge & binding. Waverly friction tuners with Ebony buttons, Worth CD strings.

I use Spruce X-bracing, all hot-hide-glue construction & amber-tone French polished shellac finish. Tiny pearl dots on FB, white dots on the side.
A cool red-tweed-patterned CrossRock ABS case is included.
Shipping extra to USA only.

WOW. What a lovely instrument and beautiful craftsmanship.

Now I am confused, is the body side close to soprano or concert?

Can't wait to see more pic's...beautiful uke!

Hello Ladies & Gents, here are the remainder of my pictures.
Also, to your questions:
It is 1-7/16" at the nut, 1-5/8" C-C at the bridge.
If you are going by Martin sizes, the Diaz body is larger than a Soprano, but smaller than a Concert.
I probably won't build a Tenor on spec, custom only.

I'm torn, Dave.

I really, really dig your primitive ukes -- as a kind of signature build, I mean -- but these Dias models are really just stunning.
