So I have an LFDM, a Wolverton, a Vento AND a Devine coming -- even though I ordered them at very different times, they are all ready at just about the same time, and I'm also facing some steep property expenses. So I have to sell something, maybe even some of these new ones. I am considering the sale of something I barely touched and had considered untouchable--a Ko'olau CS, made of unbelievably beautiful curly koa. Corey and Aaron at HMS both said that this was one of the best ukes they had ever played, and they have played thousands, including some of the legendary ukes like Jake's personal Kamaka. It is amazingly well-balanced. Its sweet spot is everywhere. I've played a lot of high end ukes, and it doesn't get better than this--this is truly on another level. I am the first and only owner. I am the first and only owner and played it for about 45 minutes total, very gingerly--probably less than the guys at HMS. PS, if I win the powerball tonight, this uke is no longer for sale...ever.
