    Unhappy

I only have a baritone, so I'm learning this as a 4 string chunk, using the top string as my baseline and plucking all 3 lower strings with my fingers...

I'm having trouble getting a solid chunk sound though...

Does it come from hitting the soundboard or just the strings? Any tips would be great.

This "chunk" isn't really a chunk at all - it's more of a mute. The sound you should be getting is actually really quiet because the 3 finger chunk acts more as a way to dampen the strings.

For more information on how to do a regular chunk, check out this thread:

do i pick the string and then push down with the side of my thumb
or do i pick the string with my thumb against the string

Oh man, just watched CommunityChannel's newest video.

"Chunk" was her ugly word for the day. How sad. I love her stuff!
