Standard Tenor T1 Koolau Ukulele model purchased from Elderly Instruments in Michigan last year, no build date. Great tone, easy playability, equipped with High-G Aquila strings. Equipped with functional passive pickup, (not sure what brand), already installed when purchased. Selling to help fund recent ukulele purchase. This ukulele deserves to be played. With great projection, a very light instrument, a player’s uke with a few strum marks and 3 small dings <1mm on the back of the body (lower left side, barely visible on pics, see below).

More details: Solid Koa top, back and sides, strap pin installed at the base of the neck, passive pickup installed, Ebony headstock, abalone fret markers in 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, and 15th frets, grover geared tuners. No build date.

Makahiki can roughly translates to "new beginning" which is probably build date. If I am reading the label correctly, I believe it may be October 6, 2009. Beautiful instrument. I'm sure it sounds great.
