Default No Uke players found in the East Coast?

Just got a great ukulele for Christmas and would like to take lessons. Does anyone know of any teachers in the NY NJ metro area.
    Thanks!

Flea market music has a player directory that is great for this kind of thing.

It's a good place to find people to play with as well. An instructer is great but playing with other people is where it really comes to life. Have fun with your new uke.

I was gunna ask, since we're talkin bout the northeast, are there any uke teachers near the boston area? Or any sweet uke stores?
    When life's got you down,
and you don't hear a sound,
you feel short and small in a world loud and tall,
drowned in stress, and its a big mess,
pick up your uke and play.
