Here's a long shot based on my experience. I shopped for a Glyph for several months. When I was convinced I'd never find one, I commissioned a new custom instrument. Well, a Glyph showed up on one of my searches within a week. Not just a Glyph, but exactly what I wanted! (I decided to go with the new custom) So, try giving up. It just might work.
