I think tickets weren't favor, simply a move of motion picture induction tickets. Each one time up obliged a ticket, whether solo or in a gathering. No ticket, no stage. The stage session was timed and after a couple of gatherings were hearded off mid-tune the performers figured out how to stay informed regarding their time. Everyone got a shot. With an open occasion I'm not certain how you'd manage one set of tickets for every individual. Somebody in control would need to dole them out and grinch the few who came up a second time.
