Default Suggestions for beginner fingerstyle/picking songs

    hi all,
I'm looking for some suggestions for good fingerstyle songs to start with. Would prefer if Tab and video were available.

I've done some fingerstyle exercises but I feel like an actual song might help more.

    thanks

The Easy Classical solos are all easy but complex enough that they sound good. A more advanced player can use these as a foundation and beef them up, a beginner can get challenged and still have fun.

The Mark Kailana Nelson Learn to play Fingerstyle is the best of the various finger style instruction books I've found.

I can't really recommend that book. See comments and some other ideas in this thread:

Sammantha Muir has a couple of good e-books and she also has videos of many of the pieces.
