Selling: Risa Tenor LP Cherry Bust (ELECTRIC steel-string)

(July 22nd, 2014)

Dear Players,

My Risa LP Tenor Cherry Sunburst is due to a recent change of living circumstances for sale. This is a top-notch high quality instrument, and was bought in late Summer 2012 directly from the German producer Risa.

I acquired this Ukulele already has a second-choice instrument due to a barely visible surface-crack in the top-painting of the headstock. You can notice this actually just under special lightning circumstances - however, pictures can be found in the remaining sites of this thread. Besides, there are little micro scratches around the soundhole.

Box contains: Gigbag, bill, 2 picks (1 Felt, 1 Plastic) and tools (to change strings, I think).

I’d like to have 450EUR for the Ukulele. Shipping is not included, point of shipping is Germany (ZIP 70794, Stuttgart Filderstadt).

Questions are always welcome.

And here, finally, a few pictures of the Ukulele (ones of the amp below), most of them via URL (Postlimit..):

If I hadn't been involved in the Bulk Buy from China of an Electric Tenor, I'd have jumped at this. Good price for a guaranteed great electric (steel string) Uke (us bulk buyers are taking a risk with a sight-unseen, untried purchase). I've played a RISA and heard it wonderfully played by a super lead player too! Lucky bugger whoever gets their hands on this one!

Argh, this uke is a thing of beauty.. I have owned 2 Risa Les Pauls so far, both the tenor and soprano.. and I would really love this one..

Alas I have just finished saving up for a Risa tenor stick.... I'll have a think about it.

Ditto! Would love this, but recently splashed out on a Baritone. My Risa concert stick is a lovely uke, but this little wonder is a beauty! Lucky buyer!

I am interested in getting this ukulele. I am curious though how much shipping would be and would like to know more about the crack on the headstock. I live in Santa Cruz, California, USA. If the crack is visible, which picture shows it?
Thank you,
Matt

Damn, I want one of these so bad.... but I just got a Godin... wonder if I can sell something in time to grab it?

Hey Guys!

Pardon for the late reply, I am super busy at the moment with hunting jobs!
Anyhow, many thanks for all the positive feedback. That Uke is as far as I can judge really an excellent instrument - hearing professional e-guitarists playing on it is a pleasure!!

As requested, the pictures http://i61.tinypic.com/29kxj00.jpg and http://i59.tinypic.com/2rww947.jpg show the crack in the surface paint of the headstock! It's vertically in the middle between the gears of the GC and the EA gears - and was bought from RISA in Frankfurt with it.

Shipping costs to the US are 36.99EUR // USD 51.27 via DHL, insured up to EUR500 at a shipping time of 10-12 days. UPS/FedEx is waaaay more expensive!!! The weight of the Ukulele inclusive Gigbag is 2022 gramms; that leaves quiet of space for packaging material.

Glad to answer any more questions!! All the best, private email via PM request!

In this one http://es.tinypic.com/view.php?pic=dykgf9&s=8#.U2Qpq4GSw8o

Is that a crack running down vaguely diagonally from the nut? Or just grain?

BTW I wrote to your email address and was told it wouldn't accept mail from me. I also sent you a PM. Did you get it?

Actually, the crack is not visible on that picture. First sunshine since days today, so I took her out into the garden to take more pictures of the crack:
Picture 1, the crack is along the red marked area. Note again: its just going through the black top painting, the (red) wood below is untouched!
Picture 2
Picture 3

That's now very weird with my eMail address - its kind of new and I haven't got any blacklist set up! Might I asked who's your e-mail provider? This is the first time I am getting such feedback! Replied to your pm finally!

That was the crack I was referring to. I'd already seen the one on the top of the headstock.

Oh, I just checked my mail and we are in contact that way. OK.
