A high school math teacher in Texas emailed to tell me that he used my Altoids Ukulele plans as part of a geometry final project.

These kids did a great job. Who knows? Maybe some of them will become ukulele builders.

Cool. Bit of a stretch to relate this with geometry, but its something real world that the kids can relate to I guess.

I wonder if the peppermint tins sound different than the wintergreen. :rolleyes:
 
Well, perhaps geometry is related to fret positions.
