Ukulele Chord Solos with Steve Boisen and Amanda Lynn
.
Join Tampa Bay Ukulele Society founder Steve Boisen as he teaches you how to play an easy solo piece and present some of their own arrangements for you to learn. He’ll also offer tips on how to create your own solos and provide a list of resources where you can find more pieces arranged for the ukulele.

Tin Pan Alley and the Ukulele with Steve Boisen.
Join Tampa Bay Ukulele Society founder Steve Boisen as he shares some of his favorites from this era and offers tips on how to add some vintage “pizzazz” to these songs by using different strums, modulations, turnarounds, intros and endings.

Music Theory for Ukulele with Steve Boisen.
To some people music theory may sound complicated, boring or perhaps both, but learning just a little about how music works will help you learn songs faster, memorize them and play them in different keys to suit your voice.

Vocal Technique and Health with Amanda Lynn.
Whether you consider yourself a vocalist or a shower singer, singing uses some pretty vital mechanisms that need care just like any other part of your body. It's important to understand how your instruments works to not only make it more consistent, but to keep it healthy.

Two Finger Picking with Pops Bayless
Everyone wants to finger-pick these days and Pops Bayless' class, EZ Two-finger Pickin' will have you up and pickin' in no time. We'll learn a two-finger roll technique with some appropriate chord changes.

The Blue Ukulele with Mark “Spanky” Gutierrez
Who says you can’t play Blues on the ukulele? This class will take you through the 12 bar blues pattern, a few blues runs, and we will also spend some time on the blues scale for soloing!

Easy Reggae Rhythms for Uke with David Downing
Find that island strum on simple four-chord tunes

Had a really good time. Enjoyed picking up new things at all five clinics. And today, the day after, I've mostly been working on the two finger picking Pops taught us. Of course, also working on the chord solos from Steve, the blues chord sequence with riffs from Spanky, and everything else too.

THANKS TO THE CLINICIANS AND ORGANIZERS FOR THE UKULELE FESTIVAL IN OMAHA, NEBRASKA!
