Song Help Request Stupid Me - Magic! arrangement ;) Consultate me plss

I recently came across this song by magic and I was hoping I'd make a cover on this. This song really hits my life at the moment.

I was thinking about adding a Ska twist to it along with some crazzy strumming. Then change the style in between to make it less dull.
