New Uke Maker: Godin Guitars!

Hi everyone. I dropped in at MacWorld today and was surprised to see a music manufacturer exhibiting there. It was Godin guitars. I told their rep that I'm a fan of their instruments, but I wished they would try making ukuleles. He replied that they're about to release a tenor uke based on their acoustic-electric guitar. And while he didn't have one to show, he said I could find it on their website. Sure enough, there it is:

They received a lot of anticipated attention at NAMM last week.

My Godin dealer says they will start shipping their ukes in about 4-6 weeks. Elderly has the prices at $750 for the natural finish and $850 for the sunburst.

Ah, thanks Didgeridoo2, I missed that. I asked the Godin guys why they decided to go to MacWorld (they were the only instrument builder there) and they said they were here for NAMM anyway and decided to combine two shows.
