“Stead-y” as she goes! Matt Stead lessons discussions

My mum follows Matt Stead and adores his approach to teaching. Whilst I know he has changed the format of his site, subscription definitely seems to be worth it.

On a slightly unrelated topic, we would both love to visit his little shop and B&B one day!
The subscription is absolutely worth it!

His shop would, I think, be rather dangerous for me to visit… 😁

Hi Plonky-tonk! I've been lurking at this thread for the second time. I hope you're healed up by now!

I've watched a few Matt Stead videos, and he explains things so well that it really makes me want to play better, work harder.

I'm just wondering how its going now. I am planning to sign up. Thanks for the info here!

Cheers!

I’m very happy I signed up, and I think you will be too. Each lesson builds so smoothly on the one before it! Potentially difficult things are taught in tiny steps with no struggle at all. His teaching skill is really impressive.

I’ve slowed down a lot as I’m going through the intermediate lessons. Each one is rich and delicious and as I repeat them each a few times I pick up more. I can see the Intermediate bundle keeping me busy for a good while.

Hey all! I've just started looking at Matt's lessons--I've gone through the first four (free) lessons at the beginner level. I'm not quite ready to move on to the next lesson yet. I've got a question for those of you who have paid for the lessons--do you think the monthly subscription or the one-time fee is preferable--and why?
