Fantastic! Welcome to the UU.

Looking like really hot weather for the weekend. Packing tonight and heading out right after the last bell (I'm a teacher) on Friday. Trying to beat traffic, but coming from the south bay, it's going to be tough.
Hey Gary
I hope to be out there next year...visit people and go to the Festival...haha
I know you know food!haha
please give my friend Mike some ideas on nice places drinks to eat and have a few drinks...haha
..he staying in American Canyon...I told him to stop in Sausilito on his way up to Napa..
have fun my brother
Isn't American Canyon on Hwy 29 east of Vallejo? He won't be passing through Sausalito, it'll be close to 45 minutes behind him and all the way around the north end of the bay. I met MGM a couple years ago at the Oahu Uke Fest. I don't think he'll remember me, but I'll tell him you said Hey.
Napa is all about good food and drink so he won't have to look too hard. It's more about how much $$$$ you want to spend.
Hopefully I'll see you in Hawaii before your trip next year. Either way I look forward to seeing you again.
American Canyon is north of Vallejo. . . . about 20-30 minutes (depending on traffic) south of Napa. Traffic gets a little busy going North on 29 but if you hit it early enough shouldn't be bad.

Yeah, like 4:00 AM!![]()
I think it's in Fairfield which is East of Vallejo and maybe about 10-15 minutes to the Highway 12 exit.I might of played golf there...is Paradise Valley close by?
It wasn't that bad, was it Chuck? I'm driving from Sac and it'll take about an hour and a half or so. I'll leave at about 8 or so, get a cup of joe and cruise it a leisurely pace.Yeah, like 4:00 AM!![]()

Yup, Paradise Valley is in Fairfield. I'm staying in Fairfield. About a 40 minute commute, but about $100.00 cheaper than staying in Napa or St. Helena.
Hey Gary Fountain Bleu??? in Ameircan Canyon...I played a really nice course somewhere up there...
back to the Festival...have fun..your whole family going to?
see you soon
Mika and James are going to enjoy the pool at the hotel and also make a trip to the Charles Schultz museum.

You will be in my town Santa Rosa, at the Charles Schultz museum! ..lot's of good places to eat and ..(and many Mary's Pizza places around Sonoma County as well). This is a great link for anyone that has some spare time at the Festival and is looking for things to do. http://www.sonomacounty.com/
Mary's first pizza shack was in Sebastopol, probably around 1982. Then they spread their dough all over Northern Bay. Shoots, now you're making me homesick!
Oh Chuck, you've got to come back for a visit! I would make you a pie with Gravenstein apples.....
