Hi guys,
Thomas Macomson, of Makapili ukulele fame, is in the Pacific Northwest for a bit, and have been hosting him at our house.
He has been out in our old boat building shop, building a few pineapple soprano ukuleles, and wanted to share a few photos from a couple days ago.
Also a photo of when I had a few of his instruments here at the house some years ago -

This is fantastic news. I have been looking for one of Thomas’ ukes for years. Any chance he is interested in making a concert size again? Is the plan to sell the sopranos?

Hi Bill, I mentioned to Thomas your pm about wanting a Concert size, and he said the next batch he intends on starting building, are Concert Pineapples, then if our workshop is still available, I am hoping he does a few Tenors, Baritones, Terz guitars, and Parlor guitars. - :)

Thank you Ed. So wonderful to hear Thomas is building ukes again.
I was fortunate to have had two of his Makapili ukes. Both were skillfully & beautifully made with great tone.

The first really nice uke I owned was a concert pineapple Makapili!
