I think this is the end for BJ. I never thought I'd see him doubt himself this much, given that he has quite the ego...he's never going to be the fighter that he was even if he does return. Most dedicated athletes would take this loss as a motivation to train harder but i seriously doubt he has the work ethic or commitment to do so.

what an asshole, in the vid i linked earlier, he said he wasnt done yet. screw BJ. im done with his quitting ass.

and if you watch them putting vaseline on GSP's back, they put it only on the shoulders, not across the whole back. BJ's rubber guard should have been able to hold him, even if he was oiled up. The fact is, BJ got licked, (almost) fair and square

They should just have a rematch. I was rooting for GSP, but him winning is overshadowed by the whole vaseline crap. Just do it over!

lol, that was excellent. We might be the only local people who don't like BJ Penn.

I just can't believe that he was even considering retiring at this point. He's only 30 i believe, and has at least a few years left. If you really love this sport, why would you want to prematurely leave it? Just wanting to leave on a high note is stupid, and I think its mostly because of his own unwillingness to maintain a high standard of training throughout the year.
