Can you tell us the number of ukes in the room or is that classified?
There are 96 Ukes in the room right now. I have 8 down in the garage packaged up waiting to go for donation at The Ladies of Charity, Hill Country Thrift Shop in Lakeway. Incidentally, I have other musical instruments in the room, including a Lyre, Kalimba, Concertina, Bowed Psaltry, (3) Native American Indian Flutes, (5) Recorders, Violin-Uke, Didgeridoo, (3) Harmonicas, Piano, Bagpipe, Indian Drum, Bongolele, Shakerlele, (2) Tambourines, German Alto Horn, American Alto Horn, and a British Tenor Horn. Can you tell us the number of ukes in the room or is that classified?
Wow, so the fact that I counted 96 in the room and posted earlier to that fact, was spot on. Your pictures were good, in that I could see all the ukes, even on the shelves, floor, and on misc stands and hooks. An impressive collection for sure. I noticed the NAF's too, as I play and have 5 myself. Don't forget your Blue Lion mountain dulcimer! I love playing my mountain dulcimers....I have 6, all customs. There are 96 Ukes in the room right now. And, to answer Jan D's question, sitting "quietly" in the room is hardly an option!![]()
Amazing! I did forget to mention my Blue Lion Mountain Dulcimer. You, Sir, know your Dulcimers, picking out the maker and all. Please pardon my ignorance here, but what is a "NAF?"Wow, so the fact that I counted 96 in the room and posted earlier to that fact, was spot on. I'm liking that! I could be worth the cost of flying in.You could start a service where folks could come over and try various ukes before ordering one from the manufacturer...
Nah! Jerry is ahead. He who dies with the most ukulele wins. I think you got this one in the bag George. Nice room full of ukes.
Straight out of the "Lives of the Rich and Famous". It turned out beautiful VegasGeorge. It's like a museum show room. Thanks for sharing with us.
