I've had this ukulele for a while but it's not getting much playtime, so it's time to move it on (and make room for more!).

The Details:

  • Pono ATD-CR Tenor Ukulele, Serial No. 155106
  • Original Owner. Purchased New and Set-up in November 2016 by HMS/The Ukulele Site
  • Solid Cedar Top
  • Solid Acacia Back and Sides
  • Adjustable Truss Rod
  • Maple Top Binding, Rope Purfling
  • Rope Marquetry Soundhole Rosette
  • Bone Nut and Saddle
  • Mahogany(?) Neck
  • Ebony Radiused Fretboard
  • Ebony Bridge
  • Grover Gold and Black Tuning Machines
  • Pearl Logo and Fingerboard Position Dots
  • High Gloss Finish
  • Worth Brown Strings, High "G", Freshly installed and still stretching
  • UkeCrazy Black Canvas-covered Hard Foam Case

Condition:
Mostly excellent condition with light play wear/micro scratches. There is a small ~3mm finish chip on the back edge of the lower bout. See photo. There are few tiny finish marks below the bridge (some klutz wasn't careful when changing strings!) I tried to photograph them but didn't have much luck.

I'll post additional photos in a follow-up post. Please contact me if you have any questions. I'll try to post a sound sample tomorrow.

And I promise these are the last photos!

This photo tries to show the small scratches on the top below the bridge.

As promised, here's a sound sample followed by a little tune called "He Played His Ukulele as the Ship Went Down" by Arthur LeClerc and arranged by R.J. Putter. Excuse the distortion of the first part as I had my microphone gain cranked a little too high! Also, excuse my messy basement!
