My junk email had tripled. My snail mail has doubled. I'd swear the TV ads have gotten even louder. Traffic has begun to pick up. From Black Friday on I'll be afraid of getting run over in my front yard. Like open combat just to go grab a gallon of milk.

It's always been crazy in the stores, fighting over the last doorbuster TVs or phones. "Doorbuster" may be literal this year, now that smashing and burning stores has become more socially acceptable. We may need riot gear to go shopping .. o_O .. Be careful out there, folks.

I hate to say it, but I prefer to do my holiday shopping online…

I hope you get it by February, and the porch pirates don't. Unless I have no choice I only shop places that have Priority Mail, because it's always by noon and I'm not trapped in the house all day. Undamaged and when estimated. UPS and FedEx are anywhere from 2-9 PM, beat up packages and later than estimate. I can't count the times I waited on them all day for nothing, especially UPS.
