Song Help Request How would I figure out a fingerpicking pattern for the song "Polly Von"? I'm still a beginner and just starting to get the real hang of playing

I've been trying to find picking patterns that would suit the song but I simply don't know enough to be able to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Basically, find a copy of the music, ideally with chords, transpose it if necessary to a key to suit your voice, then sit down with it and "noodle around".
Don't be afraid to use a capo if necessary, we're here to make music, not for punishment
Once you've got the chord sequence memorised you should be able to pick out any relevant melody you want from those chord shapes with little trouble.
There's a nice arrangement on p70 of "Marrow Bones - English Folk Songs" by Frank Purslow, an E.F.D.S Publication.
