I got a new (old) Fluke, and I want to put geared tuners on it. I bought a nice black set, but the shafts are so long that they would butt into each other. I could grind the ends down, but I thought of another solution. I could fill the tuner holes with dowels and drill new holes, offset. The tuners would be staggered and not interfere with each other.
I have other tuners coming eventually, so I'll see how they fit. I like the idea of the staggered tuners, though. I've never seen that before. This will become a Winter Fluke when I do some painting on the top.
