I am trying to find out more about uke model KT4. It is 28" long 11" wide and 4" deep.
I assume it is a tenor but it's big, I can't find any details on it. Made in Japan and not sure of it's age.
Thanks

A good review

At the Ukulele site, they sell and do great reviews and sounds samples https://theukulelesite.com/kiwaya-solid-mahogany-soprano-kts-4-1685.html

A good discussion here https://forum.ukuleleunderground.com/threads/kiwaya-kts-4-or-something-else.146751/

And finally, from the builder

This isn't a Soprano ukulele.. Kiwaya KT-4

I googled "Kiwaya KT-4" and came up with zero results (other than this thread) that indicate the existence of this model.

My suggestion is to go to the Kiwaya/Takumi site and make your inquiry there.

The ukulele in the Goodwill ad seems to have a misaligned/bent/twisted tuning machine.

This looks to be a tenor version of the quality laminate soprano KS-4. Never seen one of these before.

Agreed, looks like the laminate koa on the KS-4 and seems just like these Famous FT-4 ukes.

Where did you hear about it? Even searching in Japanese I get zero hits.
