No longer available Kiwaya KTU-1 tenor ukulele

Purchased this as I am a big Kiwaya Fanboy , saw the great review on Got a ukulele,and wanted to see one in person. I purchased it on eBay directly from China. I put a low G string on it and it sounds great either high or low G. Full disclosure, while installing the low G string I put a scratch on it ,it is very hard to see and even harder to photograph. There are no other defects.Comes with the gig bag it was supplied with. This is a laminate ukulele made in China by Kiwaya.

I had to get one also, it is a wonderful uke! Great reviews for it! A bargain for the lucky buyer.

Really cool... imo.

I've always felt a buzz about Kiwaya ukes since back in early 2000's... so many things I perceive to be something important don't get explored enough. I digress... but whenever I see a Kiwaya my brain perks up.

I didn't know Japan had a Chinese production uke.
This could be an excellent practice uke; like one you want to just work on your music without putting excess miles on your favorite uke.
It needs to have playability and intonation... that's it.

These Kiwaya laminate ukes are amazing. I have the long-neck soprano model, and it's a beast.

I was playing it this morning. It is pretty amazing for a $200 uke and since there is no interest, I'll just keep it.
