I had one of these, and the 02 pineapple. IIRC Matt from WOU didn't think they sounded too different; not surprising given their size. I found the bodies a little thick/deep proportionally...but NBD. Ohana likes to use solid woods on their sopraninos and sopranissimos, but I don't think it matters on tiny ukes...and these prove it. The advantages of the Kiwayas are wider fretboard (I measured a bit wider that baz) and better sound (although still lo-fi given the size)...and they come with thin a bag. They are a much better deal at the Japan price, about 1/2 what they are in the US...if you can find one.
