Hey, do you all remember the fake Flea from several months ago? I had ordered one at the time, and it had been on backorder since then. Yesterday, I got a notice that my order had been cancelled, with the reason being that Shoenhut would be unable to fulfill this order, or any orders, for this product. I guess their licensing deal with Fleamarket Music fell through.

Interesting. I got mine last week. The fretboard isn't attached to the neck. Good thing I decided to just glue it instead of sending it back.

Worked today, then school.

Home from school. Had to do a report and presentation on a pathology. I picked Crohns. Had to do our thing and then answer any questions fellow students asked. Felt good about it. Actually all my classmates nailed their presentations.

Mike met me at Mario's (real Mexican food) restaurant. Came home to find a gift in my mail. I'm suspecting Booby Curtis. I laughed so hard I almost peed.

Pic on instagram.....someone bring it over.

OK windows are washed, yard is picked up, turkey is salted and I baked two pumpkin pies and four rammekins full of the leftover filling.
Nanilei made everything else, we are ready for Grams, Aunty, and cousin tomorrow.
Now I am going to pick up a pizza and watch Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter or Total Recall.

Turkey is rinsed, dried, kosher salted and back in the fridge. Skin will be lifted and butter and spiced will be crammed in tomorrow by Katie b4 its BBQed. Neck and gizzards in pan ready to slow cook all day for gravy. Not eating until 6 so Wendy can join us after dinner at her dads at 2, so I'll bake pies and rolls in the morning instead of tonite.

I am very tired tonite. I think I was anxious about my presentation a little. No work or school again until Monday. Mike and the kids home too. Going to cook, eat and sleep tomorrow. Friday we will be painting the bathroom and getting out our Christmas stuff. Should be fun.

You have a great holiday. Going with the wife and kids down to my parents house. I know it will be a nice time.

I find mesquite overpowering for anything but beef. I like apple and pecan for pork. I also use oak for beef.

It's good on shrimp and scallops wrapped in bacon and drizzled with butter and tony cacheres Cajun salt.
Sounds like you are quite a BBQ guy. Cooking on a BBQ is good therapy. Always makes me happy.

Good morning PoHos! I'm home! No blockages, but they deemed my resting heart rate was way too fast (107). So I'm now on two new meds, lopressor and zestril. But, my heart is fine. Thanks for the vibes, thought, and prayers! I'm laying down for a nap.

Well! Good to know all that - now take a gosh-darn break over thanksgiving will ya???
