When I got this 10-12 years ago, it had wood pegs, (now PegHeds) a few cracks, needed a neck reset, bridge, in short, she needed work, and deserved it.

I sent it to Dave Newton, many here know Dave, excellent builder and restoration guy. All that work was done, PegHeds added, French Polish touch-up, so you’ve got the ratio tuners, action is crazy comfortable, sound is that great Martin Taro sound.

1268/offer, includes shipping CONUS, and an Ameritage case. Questions, pics, just a PM away.

So..new price, was hoping to surprise a low-ball by saying “sure”. But no lowballs came, so here. Still entertaining offers as well, the “68” is basically covering shipping/insurance/PayPal fees.

Bumping for discussion on pricing of this, of which I’m really lacking clues on how to price. If it was in this condition with original bridge and wooden pegs, it might be worth 2k to a collector, but it’s now a player, not museum fodder, though it still retains the look of the original, just “better” unfortunately. I’m seriously open to offers or education. Been awhile.

Lol, “better” unfortunately..

Thanks Bill, you’re all taropatched up already, but this thing does play like butter.

Looking forward to lowballs though! 😀

Yuck. I mean, your right to do so, but not a great way to treat a community.

Sorry to offend, were you even interested ( not that you are now)?

Truthfully, I felt it was worth WHAT I HAD IN IT, dollar-wise 10 years ago, but decided to lower it with what I thought was a bit of humor, but heck, Poe’s Law and the internet, I really should have known.

Yeah, bought for 8, put 8 in, including the Ameritage. Taropatch Ukes just aren’t as cool as they use to be, so my loss, someone’s gain.

Again, sorry to offend.

Sorry I missed the humor--my misread. It is a uke I am interested in, and have been in a while, but I am 3 ukes over my limit. Good luck, for real, with the sale. This is a good price and I hope this special ukes finds a forever home.
