I have bought too many ukes, and there is one more I want. I also just reviewed another Talsma uke For sale a 2021 Ditson 1.jpegDitoson 2.jpegDitson 3.jpegDave Talsma Ditson style Soprano. Engelmann Spruce Top, super pretty and Walnut back and sides. The binding and the headstock are maple. Super nice rosette. 12% radius fretboard. Gotoh UPS tuners. Glass finish with a translucent plastic pickguard for hard strummers. Nearly mint condition, with the slightest bit of fogging on the finish. This uke plays as easily/well as any I personally have played, frankly, better than any other uke that I have (and take a look at my list, not bad!) It is not a super loud uke, so if you are looking for a screamer, this is not it. Plenty loud enough though. Plays super well with perfect intonation all the way up the neck. It is really fantastic, but I also find that Spruce sound is best for fingerpicking, which is not my thing.

Glad to zoom/video chat with and play it for you.

These do not come up often for sale used.

Shipped with within the COUS only (and I mean it this time!!), payment via personal or bank check, or PayPal F and F. If that makes you edgy, I can give you personal info—I have a public presence and many references here.

Enjoy it. You'll cherish it more. Now that it was almost gone.

I bet your Bearded Dragon likes this one too !

Confess that is really why you decided to keep it ... along with it being something you really don't want to part with.

LOl.....Beardy seems be less excited about this one. The truth is, this is by FAR my best playing uke. It feels amazing in my hands. I am not sure what it is--the radius, the "glossy" walnut neck. the shape of the neck, the "quality" of the neck--it just feels great, and I can play for hours. That said, it is a bit quieter than some of my other nice ukes, which is a surprise. I know, I know, I need to change the string and see if that helps--need to do a search and look into "loud" strings.

I also just struggle with having this many ukes--it feels a bit indulgent, but I do really like all the ones that I have a good deal. so...

It struck me that a man being ruled into decisions by his lizard could conjure up ideas other than the ones meant to be conjured

Don't think it hurts - The title was changed indicating it's no longer for sale. So folks don't have to click on the thread.
Might even bring a little more traffic to the marketplace, though I think people who are looking check the marketplace often.

Just a discussion about a uke and that's ok I think. There are a lot more threads that get off track, posted in less than optimal categories or cross posted in more than one area.

As the title is changed I think most can decide to view, participate or not. If contrary thinking - sorry for responding in the thread. It's a neat Uke and figured a little more discussion doesn't hurt. Sometimes the best uke is the one you don't sell and decide to keep.

Dog forbit us for having fun.. As said, the title was clearly changed. Mr. Lizard approves of this thread 🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎

This gem is really for a new home, as I can't justify having two Talsma Sopranos, and my other one has a pick up and thus good for open mics and such.

Weekly bump for this fantastic uke. Played this this morning, and it is amazing how easily my hands move between bar chords up and down the neck. Prefect player.

Price drop for this awesome uke. These rarely pop up used.
And while you don't hear his name mentioned as much these days, he makes beautiful instruments that sound as good as they look (which says a lot!) Good luck!

the most beautiful instrument brother.
so wish i could.
not sure you'll find a better feeling and sounding soprano than right here, folks.

Is that flamed spruce? 🤯 Impossibly pretty.
