Basically I needed a less nicer uke around than my supa wow. I had the enya nova u pro in the past, and the mini is just as comfortable now that I’ve been playing sopranos for a year or so. I found myself hesitant to go get the supa wow out of its case a lot because I always end up having to do something else. I know it sounds lazy but it was really turning me off to playing. Kind of a personal problem. I have less patience than I’d like, and I was starting to associate going to grab it from its case upstairs with the inevitable disappointment of having to put it right back. Now, I have a little beater I can keep in the living room, that my kids can touch, and I don’t need to make it a big to-do in order to play ukulele. It’s already been very nice.

I have one as well. Not afraid to leave it downstairs where the 2 year old Chocolate Lab runs around. Keeps me playing and practicing that way.
Ordered the pink concert size for my wife on Prime Day. She is fan of the color pink and pink flamingos. Have a Sarah Maisel pink flamingo strap ready for it and making a pink paracord hanger for it as we speak.
It is due to arrive on Wednesday.
She will be pleasantly surprised.
They are great players for the cost and I don’t sweat them taking a bump or getting knocked over.

I have one of these, too. These regularly go on sale for $40 or so and sound quality is as good or better than any $40 wood-product ukulele that I have tried. The ukulele is very compact. I put the ukulele in its included carrying case into my roll-top backpack along with my songbook to carry to jam sessions.

Yes, it is good to have a uke that won't be easily damaged, and if it does get bumped, it really doesn't matter.

The pink Nova U concert arrived.
My wife was thrilled!!! The Chee Maisel strap is a wonderful addition.
Strings are still settling but it may get Hannabach 235MHT’s. (My new go to strings)
Great durable ukuleles for the price.
The Tenor with the Hemi steel frets is on the list!
