Kanaka, you going UH vs SJSU game? if you go, we tailgating. going be choke of us, you invited. going be mix UH and SJSU alumni. we going be in the stadium side parking lot. just look for one gray tundra with fishing (lawai`a) stickers on the back. look for the group that's body painting everybody blue or green. cheee. maybe i going bring my `ukulele but going be hot and i no like leave um in my car. going buss out cooking local kine grindz: pork ribs, home made poke, and hopefully fresh poi (if not going get rice). going be planny other food: ginger chicken, kalua pig. and planny green bottles.

Sorry Bruddahs, but I'm having a hard time understanding and writing Pidgin, been living in California for 44 years. I've been in Hawaii the past three months and sorta getting used to the lingo, but still hard. This Local Boy sad eh?

I like being stationed on Okinawa, das why, plenty locals (guams n odda islander kines too), but yeah brah, you no hea pidgin, talk cannot, but hea pidgin an den can awready li dat... if can, can brah!
 
cheee hu! howzit braddahs. e kanaka and 808boy, when you guys go jam, call me too. i not too far. for reals, going go sac st for conference nov 4th. one day kine, so can cruise with you guys when stay pau. can practice `ukulele and pidgin haha. 808, i rarely talk pidgin now. or even `olelo. only wen i really hang out with other local peopo or i stay all buss. i can tell tho, my pidgin almos make and sometimes i just think i just trying.

Kams, my uncle stay okinawa too. i think he finally retire from da navy (i think) but my cousin said he still working there and no like come home. workaholic das why.

kalbi ribs, ahi and tako shoyu poke (wit ogo!), haupia, and fresh poi. i wen make all homemade, except da poi i wen buy fresh from one place who get um ship from hawaii every week. my odda cousin wen cook kalua pork and cabbage. brok da mout cuz. but still yet not the same. yeah, fo reals wen we stay da `aina, we take all of it for granted. my cousins in hawai`i call me double hawaiian now cuz i absorb it all.

my dad them get dry land kalo. but i shame ask for the lau kalo. even ti leaf for the game, i never ask too much. my mom used to make ono laulau, but not anymore. maybe i go ask for da kine recipe. hoooo i hungry now!

nah we never kanikapila. hot dis side, so i nevah like chance leave my `ukulele in da truck. plus had so much radio going, had planny hawaiian music.

oh yeah one oddah ting. the song my faddah dem working on now is one wai`anae medley: E wai`anae and Aloha ia o Wai`anae. tribute to god's country cheeee!
