Please, somebody buy this

Mango AND spruce soundboard... (from Rebel, no less!)

And a mango, mahogany, mango one (one of six in a new body design):

Really cool stuff from Rebel. I only recently have come to accept the fact I simply cannot play a 38mm nut width; I'm hoping uke manufacturers will consider offering differing nut widths. As I sell off my small group of ukes I'm finding myself drawn to certain brands and woods but they all seem to have 38mm nut width. Great for most players but alas, not for me.

So is it the nut width or the string spacing If you look at the photos, there is a whole lot of space on the G string side, but the G to A is the Rebel narrower spacing. Some manufacturers have this wider nut, narrower string spacing which also throws people off that are really looking for wider nut, wider spacing. At least it is really tough to do a narrow nut with wider spacing.

You could always have a nut made with your preferred spacing...this works for going narrower, but if going wider you might tend to pull the A string off the fret when playing. Also, watch out for Martin and their 15° angle on the base of the nut.

You mean for example, I could order a ukulele with a wide nut and request they install a narrower nut? Wouldn't that create excess fretboard real estate on the edges of the fretboard?

Probably! Or just order a wide nut, narrow string spaced instrument. Like Koaloha, Opios, or Rebels.

No you order a uke, make or have you luthier make a wider nut with the narrower spacing that you like...yes, it will have a little extra space on the edge, but so does every Koaloha and Opio... it's not that much, a mm or so on each side.

Couple nice offering from this seller.

Just bid on the beautiful KoAloha Tenor, but I am sure someone will outbid me before the end. I thought it wouldn’t hurt to get the bidding started :)

Wow, TUS has some definitely high end but amazing ukuleles now.

It looks like the Petros sold already, but they also have a baritone Cornerstone that sounds amazing, and also a tenor Cornerstone from "the tree" that is part of an auction. Counterpoint to the "how much is too much" thread, perhaps. These are very high priced, but I think they're a work of art, (though I'm not a fan of bling on my own ukuleles), so for those who have that much disposable income and find that these would bring them happiness, it's no doubt worth it to them. It makes me happy just to hear the sound on the videos. I imagine it would be a thrill to get to play them. Fortunately, my own ukuleles thrill me to play, too. :)

The Petros that apparently is sold is here, for those who might find that the sound also makes them happy. (It won't be everyone's cup of tea.)

Does that listing seem legit? He is willing to ship but after persuasion which begs the question is he legit.
