Post one song that you think others should listen to, ukulele or not!

Ah, so many good songs everyone should listen to.

I was just listening to this album, and the feeling she expresses in this song gave goosebumps and watery eyes (not so much the video).

I've posted this video elsewhere here before but it's worth another watch if not your first watch. I can't imagine how much work must have gone into choosing 20 chronological Beatles songs and mashing them together so well in the time it would normally take to sing only 1 or 2 songs. (It's more than 4 minutes as the title states.) What a talented group! They looked like they were having a great time! And it even has a uke in it!

Walk Off the Earth are brilliant.

I'm just working out the chords for this, from his first album. Only few months after the first climate crisis reports in 1967. I wonder how the kids are now?

Sorry you may a weird ad flashing on this, but this song makes me laugh. You can use it to memorize 1-4-5 chord progression in various keys.

Tiny Tim was certainly a unique character. Here's an interview later in his career (jump to about 4:00 to hear him perform) He covers a lot of ground, here:

I read that his backing band The Enchanted Forest used to tune up his ukulele before gigs (note - plays lefthanded) only for him to immediately fiddle and re-tune (sic) as it was before!

It's a sad song overall, but strangely comforting. One of my favorites. Intriguing. Would never want to sing or play it. I love the ship video.
