Thanks, Val! I think there are only a couple of thousand Ukrainian refugees living in Kent, but a fair number of those around the Herne Bay and Canterbury area.Good for you, Del ... and a VERY worthy cause!!! Are there many Ukrainians currently living in Kent?

A few people have mentioned over the course of this Season that their father has or had dementia. I'm married to a poet (Lisa Dordal), and her dad passed away last year after about four years with dementia. Her most recent book, Water Lessons, contains two especially beautiful poems about her dad's dementia, and I asked her if I could share them with you (she said yes). If you have, or had, a loved one with dementia, I hope these poems will bring you a sense of connection, or recognition, or whatever else might help today.
