Earlier I’ve posted about buying a baritone uke and was wondering what vendors out there give an honest good setup along with the sale?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

A good setup takes skill and time and will cost you on the front or back end.

No personal experience but I've heard very positive comments about retailer baritone setups from Aloha City Ukes, Mainland Ukes, Uke Republic, and The Ukulele Site.

A big part will be communicating what you want setup wise with the person whom you buy from.

Remmurts, I've had very good experiences with Mim's Ukes when it comes to a nice setup with a uke purchase.
I ususally ask Mim to try to get the action somewhat low, but not "crazy low" (as I've found that can detract from the uke's projection), and Mim has honored that request every time.

I don't think she sells baritones anymore. You can still get dinky ones tho..

Hello everyone, As a beginner would like to know what is the finniest way to learn Ukulele and also choose right one?

is there any tutorials on YouTube or app own by Ukuleleunderground available?

Thanks in advance.

I started learning via Cynthia Lin on youtube. Her tutorials are soooo slow and simple and helped build my foundation. Now I signed up for Sarah and Craig's lessons via Artistworks.com and they are also amazing but a little more detailed. Now that I'm improving I decided to invest in private lessons via zoom with Brad Bordessa and he too is just awesome. But to start Cynthia was just super easy and I didn't feel overwhelmed at all. I started with a concert size uke just a $100 laminate Kala and it served me well. Now I play a soprano and neither is easier than the other but some say the concert gives you a little more room and also is the middle size so you can go up or down from there depending on how you like it. I do recommend buying a ukulele from somewhere like the ukulele site, uke republic, or aloha city ukes that will set up your instrument so that it's in the ideal condition to play. I didn't get my first uke set up and wow what a difference when I bought my 2nd uke and had it set up properly!

You may receive more information by starting a new post in the Ukulele Beginners forum. The only way I can see how to make that happen as a Moderator is to delete this one here and post a new one, but I won't be able to do so today, so I thought I'd let you know if you want to do that for yourself.
