Greetings.

Does one have to be techie to host? I don't quite know how to create song lists or start a thread but I guess that's likely a show stopper. Not ready to host but curious enough to ask.

No worries, Gina - those are both really easy things to learn.
If you have enough tech savvy to enter a Season, you have enough to host.

How to Start a Thread:
1) Click on the "Seasons of the Ukulele" link in the breadcrumb trail at the top of the page.
--- (If you've been successfully finding the new Season each week, you probably already have this bookmarked or know how to get there.)
2) Click the big button that says "Post New Thread"
3) Give your thread a title (please include "Season 2xx" in your title, and post away!

Starting a YouTube playlist is only slightly more complicated than that. YouTube has excellent step-by-step instructions for anything you might want to do on their site, so I'd suggest you just google it ... though many folks here would also be happy to help.

Those things are the easy part!

Come host, it's really fun. Some week when you have lots of time on your hands.

you can just click add new post, up at the top, and off you go

just double triple quadruple check your thread title, 'cause if you typo on that, you can't edit it, like you can edit the actual body of the post, only a mod can edit the thread title

playlists, over on youtube, when you have a vid playing, there is plus sign, click that, you can add the vid to a playlist, it gives you the option to add to any existing playlist you might have, or start a new one, you could start a new, type in the name you wanna give it, and then every subsequent vid is just a really easy add

you'd be such a super host, i do hope you give it a go!
